Pride Weekend 2013
Boys and Girls of all ages, prepare yourself for a show beyond your wildest dreams!

This year, Queer & Sober is all about the spectacle and magic of the Circus!

June 28th, 2013: 
The Opening Meeting & Night Circus Party
The Limelight 
8-1am
656 Avenue of the Americas at 20th Street.
Let the show begin! Kick off Pride weekend with an inspiring sobriety countdown, a great speaker meeting, followed by a dance party like no other. Our resident DJ Billy Waters will be having you dance the night away!  

Saturday, June 29th:
The Welcome Meeting on the Field 
Clinton Cover Park
12-1pm
The Hudson River near west 55th Street
An Open Meeting with 2 speakers and an official welcoming to our out of town participants. All are welcome. 

The Park Social 
Clinton Cover Park
1- 4:30pm
The Hudson River near west 55th Street
Come play with us! Or, relax and take it easy. There is Sun, Mingling, Beverages and fun stuff like Kayaking, Volleyball, Guided Meditation, and other midway games! Open to all.
*Non-registrants may participate in everything at the Park for free however iced beverages and circus food will be for sale. No outside food or drink please.

The 2013 Mr. Sobriety Show
The Goldman – Sonnenfeldt Theater at The JCC
Show Reception at 7pm. Doors open at 7:45pm
Show starts at 8pm
334 Amsterdam Avenue at west 76th Street
Come support our fabulous contestants as they display feats of wit, talent, brains, and of course….brawn. All of this in the hopes of winning the coveted Mr. Sobriety pageant sash! The contestants and celebrity judges are sure to keep things interesting at this “adult” show. Hosted by The Parodivas and directed by James G.

The After Party
The Rooftop at The Gem Hotel
10pm – 12:30am
 Take in the New York skyline and make some new friends on the rooftop of our host hotel in Chelsea. Drinks and Ice Cream will be served. *$10 cover at the door for non-registrants.  All are welcome.

Sunday, June 30th:
The Parade! 
5th Avenue (Meet-up location to be announced)
12-5pm
March proudly with the sober contingency in the parade. This is a beautiful experience and all are welcome to join in the fun. Dress festive and bring out the Purple from your closets!  Sneakers are encouraged.

The Closing Cruise 
Circle Line Cruises at west 42nd Street and the Hudson River
Set sail at 8:30 sharp. Returning at 11:30pm
Our crown jewel event of the weekend is the cruise! Dance, play, mingle, enjoy the sights and get the very best view of the Pride fireworks show! DJ Billy Waters will be turning it out and you don’t want to miss this!
